Sino-Italy Joint Research Center of Laser Remote Sensing Opens

BEIJING, Sept. 10 (China Space News) — The Sino-Italy Joint Research Center of Laser Remote Sensing opened Sept. 5 in Beijing.

Jointly set up by the Beijing Research Institute of Telemetry, a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), and a university in Italy, the Center is dedicated to research and development of advanced laser remote sensing equipment.

Wu Yanshen, vice president of CASC unveiled the plaque of the Center with the representative from the Politecnico di Milano University during the opening ceremony.
