[02-03-11] Independent satellite communications company Vizada Networks will unveil its next generation DVB-S2/ACM-based platform Feb. 8, the company announced.
The platform, Viznet Broadband, is a standardized service that aims to provide high-speed connectivity with dedicated bandwidth and guaranteed data rates. Vizada said the platform would offer custom made solutions out of combinations of all Vizada Networks platforms.
Viznet Broadband replaces Vizada’s JanUX offering and was partially based on the JanUX Mark 2 solution. The platform will offer service coverage over Africa and the Middle East using Newtec’s satellite IP receivers and optional antenna sizes down to 1.8 meters for C-band in Africa and 1.2 meters for Ku-band in the Middle East.
