[Via Satellite 02-06-2014] Gilat Satellite Networks has introduced CellEdge, an integrated cell-over-satellite solution designed for unserved rural areas. This end-to-end solution has the ability to deliver cost-effective 2G and 3G cell services to unserved areas, a total average power draw of 80W, and provides optimization of satellite bandwidth through high efficiency algorithms.
