[11-26-09] iDirect has provided and installed its series 15000 universal satellite hub for BSS in order to strengthen the capabilities and reach of BSS’ IP-satellite broadband service, iDirect announced Nov. 23.
BSS will leverage the iDirect platform to extend satellite services to markets in the Middle East and Africa. BSS replaced its legacy satellite technology with the iDirect platform to roll out new high-speed data and voice-over-IP connectivity for enterprises, government organizations and ISPs.
BSS was established following the acquisition of the satellite services division of Belgacom by India-based ORG Informatics.
