Lite Coms Wins $22 Million Government Satellite Communications Contract

Lite Coms has been awarded a $22 million contract by an undisclosed government and defense customer to provide satellite communications capabilities supporting operational readiness.

According to Lite Coms, the contract will provide secure and reliable satellite communications designed to maintain connectivity in demanding operational environments.

The company said the communications systems are intended to support users operating under complex and dynamic conditions.

Tactical Communications Portfolio

Lite Coms develops and integrates tactical communications systems, including deployable satellite communications terminals, mobile communications platforms and integrated connectivity solutions.

The company said it currently has nearly 10,000 very small aperture terminal (VSAT) systems deployed.
